Guidelines for Human Capital Reporting (HCR)
An organization’s success depends on its people. To this end, employers must serve the needs of its employees just as much the needs of customers. In many ways, employees are an organization’s most important customer. Recruiting and retaining the right talent requires planning, time, and investment. Today, top recruits expect more from employers in the areas of organizational culture, health and safety, training and development, vertical mobility, and leadership transparency. Determining the return on your sustainable workforce investment can be difficult. ISO 30414:2018 – Human Resource Management – Guidelines for Internal and External Human Capital Reporting (HCR) was created to just that.
ISO 30414:2018 provides guidelines for internal and external human capital reporting (HCR). The objective is to consider and to make transparent the human capital contribution to the organization in order to support sustainability of the workforce. This document is applicable to all organizations, regardless of the type, size, nature or complexity of the business, whether in the public, private or voluntary sector, or a not-for-profit organization.
